About
Service Level Helper (slh) is a CLI tool designed for Software Engineers and DevOps Engineers/Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) to aid in calculating the maximum allowable downtime based on a given service level objective or agreement. It also computes the minimum probing frequency necessary to maintain your Service Level within specific time periods.
The tool supports custom Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR), expected incidents, and number of probes for the probing frequency calculation. Additionally, it can calculate your Service Level based on the total duration of outages.
